I love this game. Paid premium for no ads and paid extra for unlimited fastforward. Hadn't had to spend money since. It's really fun building a whole town, honestly, and a few scenarios are mystery solving, so you might have to play the more than once. I recommend building protégé before tackling those. You can buy protégé but you honestly don't have to and it's not hard to obtain. Overall still one of my favorite 'keep busy' phone games.

Leaving a review in response to some of the negative comments abaut the new balance. With the new changes to taxes it just got more challenging. After the first endless game had several thousands of prestige so if you want to use the kings bailout no issues. Jet if you decide to do it without it raising your taxes for one taxcycle doesnt make any of your folks leave as long as you drop them after for at least one cycle. Still grindy at the start but for those like me that like a challenge nice.

A fun cute little city simulation game. Enough to keep you entertained. Still has some optional ads (like to double your daily prestige reward). It's had very few updates but it's still an alright game. There doesn't seem to be any better city building games for Android, they're all pay to win shite. Townsmen isn't pay to win because you're not even online, so there's no competition. It's very peaceful and has nice music and sound effects. Please update the game more! More buildings, more deco!

Fun game. The game's paid currency is prestige. Prestige is so easy to collect I literally have thousands saved up. After finishing a map, quests that reward prestige start generating infinitely that can be farmed. Baffled that people are struggling with prestige since its so easy to collect. Dont bother buying unlimited fast forward. It's only useful in the beginning when things are slow. Once you stock up on prestige/unlock boosts, fast forward becomes redundant as you can just spend prestige.

Ive played for years, and i can safely say it is an absolute kino city builder experience, probably one of the coziest, most well done city builders for mobile. If I had to add anything, it would be some form of long distance transport, like a carriage-way system, where one could program its time table and stops. Something to spice up the coast would be nice, canoes could fit, or maybe even a nice trading port would be very cool.

I've enjoyed this game for years, and the ability to have unlimited fast forward is a plus. There are 2 reasons I don't give it 5 stars: 1) Not enough interesting scenes that don't require barracks/military and 2) When I continue play after a scenario, new quests ask me to build buildings that I've already built & don't give me credit...so I can't complete the quest.

I really enjoy this game! It's addictive and the scenarios are nicely challenging. I would give it another star if they'd stop bothering me (in the paid ad free version) to rate the app or to buy unlimited fast forward. Those count as ads! Even if they are just for in app purchases.

Game is fun and enjoyable. Definitely worth investing in unlimited fast forward to support the game. Not getting 5 stars as removing objects needs to be improved, roads construction controls as well. Some objects can't be removed at all when behind a building. Also need to add option to rotate camera view, can be also useful in removing hidden objects.

Incredibly disappointed that buying the premium version of this game only disables the in-game adds. Still riddled with micro transactions, you don't even get the ability to fast forward freely unless you spend more money. Just feels like they're cash grabbing and making things feel tedious and slow until you spend money for their "upgrades" which should just be included in the purchased version of the game. I'm sure the gameplay is fine, but I'm so frustrated with feeling like I completely wasted my money buying this that I don't even want to continue playing it. Really just... Disappointed in the choices they've made for this games "premium" version. Certainly doesn't feel premium in anyway.

It's super fun (similar to Caesar 3) but you literally cannot make progress without watching ads. On top of that, they stop loading ads after you've seen like 20 in a day. So you slowly lose interest in even trying. I want to give you guys 5 stars, even having a $10 Free Prestige Ads option of some sort would be better. It's like Hulu; do you want $0.03 in ad revenue per view or $7/mo for an actual "premium" version? You decide. But for now, I've lost interest. 💔
